How
long is each meeting?
Each meeting is 90 minutes long. It starts at 7:00am and
ends at 8:30am. We strive to be always on time.
Can
children attend the meeting?
Only adults 18 and older can attend the meeting.
Occasionally members can bring younger children to introduce them to
Toastmasters.
Do I have to attend every meeting?
Most people cannot attend every week but attendance on a regular
basis is the best way to learn and overcome your fears.
What
do you do during the meeting?
Every meeting has an agenda. The meeting is structured in
such a way that each club member has an opportunity to speak. During
the meeting there will be speeches, discussions, explanations and
evaluations.
I am
really nervous, what can I do to be relaxed?
Club 602 consists of all kind of people just like you. We
also started from the beginning and worked our way to through to
speech proficiency. Come and join us and we will make you feel at
home.
How much does membership in Toastmasters cost?
The International Toastmaster dues are $18 every six months, the
Paul Revere Toastmasters club dues are $34 every six months.
These are pro-rated if you join in a month other than October or April.
How much does each meeting cost?
Each meeting investment is
$4.00. That includes coffee and bagel.
Can I
bring my friends with me?
Yes, definitely. We will be delighted to have your
friends over. If your friend intends to join our club, then we will
pay the meeting fee, otherwise you or your friend will need to pay
the meeting fee.
Can I
try it for a few month?
The Club dues and TM dues are paid in 6 month increments.
Keep in mind that when you have fun, time flies.
Who
do I contact if I want to visit your club?
You can contact V.P. of Membership by e-mail
or you can just show up at the meeting. New potential members are
always welcomed.
